Why This Index?

  1. TVL leaders filtered by price momentum. A hybrid fundamental-technical approach: start with protocols that have real deposits, then weight by which ones are trending.
  2. 20 tokens from the highest-TVL DeFi protocols, weighted by 30-day momentum and rebalanced biweekly. The TVL base provides stability; the momentum overlay provides timing.
  3. Pure TVL weighting ignores price trends. Pure momentum ignores fundamentals. This index takes the intersection — large protocols with positive price action.

Investment Objective

Selects the top 20 DeFi protocols by TVL, then weights them by 30-day price momentum and rebalances biweekly. Combines the stability of large TVL protocols with the timing advantage of momentum selection.
