- Dual momentum combines absolute and relative strength. Only tokens trending up on both axes make the cut, filtering out mean-reversion traps that catch single-factor momentum strategies.
- The 60-day window provides longer trend confirmation with fewer whipsaws. Fewer false signals means lower turnover and higher conviction per position.
- Compared to simpler momentum approaches, dual momentum avoids buying tokens that are rising only because the entire market is rising. The relative filter demands genuine outperformance.
Investment Objective
Applies dual momentum scoring across all tokens, selecting the top 15 by combined absolute and relative performance over 60 days. Monthly rebalancing rotates into confirmed trends while exiting fading ones.
