Privacy Policy

Overview

General Market is operated by IM Standards LLC. It consists of two products: Index (on-chain index tracking products) and Vision (peer-to-peer prediction markets). This policy covers both products. We collect minimal data and prioritize your privacy.

What We Collect

• Wallet addresses — Public blockchain addresses used for trading on both Index and Vision
• Transaction data — On-chain trading activity (publicly visible on the Index L3 chain)
• Anonymous analytics — Page views and feature usage via PostHog to improve the platform. No personal identifiers are linked.

What We Don't Collect

• Private keys — these never leave your local environment
• Personal identity — we don't require KYC or personal information
• Browsing history — we don't use tracking cookies or sell data to advertisers
• Trading positions or strategies — your Index ITP compositions and Vision bets are on-chain, not stored by us off-chain

Blockchain Transparency

All trading activity on both Index and Vision occurs on the Index L3 chain, a public blockchain. Your wallet address and transaction history are publicly visible on block explorers. This is inherent to blockchain technology, not a choice we make.

Data Storage

• Index: ITP configurations, compositions, and order data are stored on-chain. Off-chain data (price feeds, NAV calculations) is processed by BLS-verified oracles and stored temporarily.
• Vision: Prediction market entries, batch data, and settlement outcomes are stored on-chain. Off-chain data (data source feeds, market snapshots) is processed by authorized oracles and cached temporarily.

Third-Party Data

• Index interacts with CoinGecko for price data and Morpho for lending markets.
• Vision references publicly available data from 60+ third-party sources including government agencies (FRED, SEC, NOAA, USGS, EIA), public APIs (CoinGecko, GitHub, npm, Steam, Twitch), and other publicly accessible feeds. Vision does not scrape, redistribute, or resell the underlying data.

IM Standards LLC does not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
